making my new house a home...

If you've read the blog before, you'll know I am going to university in September, and one of my main concerns is my living arrangements, so I thought it would be a good idea to search for some quirky bits and bobs to put in my new uni room, and where better to go than Urban Outfitters.... this is what I found...

These cute letters can be placed on the wall to create any word you want... (£5 per letter, various colours available...)

Top row (from l-r): Marmite Sandwich box, good for the days when I'm on the go from lecture to lecture... (£6); Sudoku toilet roll, ok maybe realistically I'm not going to use this for toilet issues, but it made me smile!... (£6); Snowglobe Frame, this cute snow globe reminds me of my childhood, and you can fill it with a picture of your choice... (£5)

Middle row (from l-r): Large Cupcake storage, cute to hide little nicknacks in!... (£6); Elm tree Jewellery stand, this cute stand has holes that you could pin your earrings through or hang delicate little bracelets off of... (£16); Mirror Heart Stand, I LOVE THIS! This mirror inspires me to inject colour colour colour into my uni room! (£10)

Bottom row (from l-r): Fairy hook, this cute little hook would probably be used for decoration more than anything!! (£12); Family Clock, this cute clock has a built in picture frame around the edge for you to insert pics of all your loved ones, you could even do a kind evolution theme.... quite pricey at...(£40); Card curtain photo frame, this is really cute to hang on the wall as it looks more structured than a collage on the wall, at (£8) you could cover all your walls with them!

You may have already noticed I adore marmite, as does my mummy, so this cute little Marmite
Money bank (£6) will be significant in so many ways, a reminder of home, and a reminder to save my money and not spend it all in Urban Outfitters!!!!!!!!!
Once I get to uni (not for another 3 months yet haha) I'll take a pic my room for you!
SMILE, lifes good. XO
(all pictures direct from the Urban Outffiters site) :)

Your choices for your home away from home are lovely -I'm taking a gap year so I'll be applying for Uni next year.

Will definitely be stopping by UO b4hand... their home and leisure items are great <3

Oh awesome, travelling on your gap year or just taking a year out to work before uni?

But yeah, these were more like make it look homely, most of them aren't very practical haha, but then again that has never been my main priority. xxx
